About the Speaker

Winnie Young is the Head of STEAM International Kindergarten and STEAM International Academy, which inspire children to explore, innovate and create.  She works with NASA (National Aeronautics and Space Administration) in bringing their Distance Learning program to children and youth of Hong Kong, Macau and China. She also founded the Winnie Young Charitable Foundation to support impoverished children.

Winnie is the ambassador for several charities including Benji’s Centre, which provides speech therapy for low income children, Bring Me A Book Hong Kong, and Women Helping Women. She is also the Chairman of Wai Yin Association, a charitable organization which aids those in need from all walks of the community. Winnie conducts numerous talks throughout the year, in schools and parenting groups to advocate positive parenting and personalized education.

As a mother of two young children, Winnie shares her time among her family, career and charity. She believes that all children and families deserve an opportunity to thrive so that they may one day pay it forward to aid others less fortunate.
